John Westbrook

John Westbrook has extensive work experience in various audit and IT roles. John began their career at The Bank of Kentucky as a Teller before transitioning to become an Audit Intern and later a Staff Auditor. John then worked at Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP as an Assurance Risk Advisory Associate before joining Kindred Healthcare as an Information Security Auditor. John later moved to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation as a Senior Auditor, where they supervised audit staff and communicated recommendations to auditees. Currently, they are working at Churchill Downs Incorporated, where they have held several positions, including Senior IT Auditor and Director of Information Technology Audit. John is currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Audit, overseeing a team supporting various properties and locations.

John Westbrook has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from Northern Kentucky University. John also holds a Master of Business Informatics degree with a field of study in Corporate Information Security from the same university. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA and as a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
