Shuo Liu has a long history of working in software development. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Software Developer for Jie & Son Industrial & Trade, coding and deploying an Inventory Management System with C++/GNU CGICC and a VoIP-based PBX system. Shuo also maintained the existing MRP system. In 2010, they joined Toyzen Inc. as a Creative Director, leading in-house and out-source teams of artists, writers and sound designers to produce over 30 interactive stories. In addition, they built a PC-based Scene Editor for the in-house iOS-based interactive storybook engine. In 2014, they joined That Game Team (Student Game Team @ Digipen) as a Producer, Software Developer and Game Developer. As Producer, they led the development of a Voxel based First Person Shooter with a team of 4, designing and implementing the core engine architecture, voxel terrain system, graphics system, and scripting system. As Game Developer, they designed, implemented the core engine architecture, graphics system, and font rendering system for \"That Game\", a 3D interactive poetic game with a team of 5. Finally, in 2015, they joined Churchill Navigation as a Software Engineer.

Shuo Liu earned a Bachelor in Computer Science from Zhengzhou University from 2003 to 2007. Shuo then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science from DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015.
