Ray (JX) Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of air traffic control. Ray (JX) started their career in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller in August 1984 and served in this role until March 2005. After retiring as an E-7, they joined the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority as a Rail Controller from February 2005 to July 2006. Subsequently, they worked at CI2 Aviation as an Air Traffic Manager from July 2006 onwards.

Ray (JX) Miller earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from Park University (Scott AFB, IL) between the years 1985 and 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Shorter University-College of Adult & Professional Programs, studying from 2010 to 2011.
