Adel Abbas

Adel Abbas has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Adel began their career as a Financial Advisor at Commerce One Financial in 2006, followed by positions as an Account Executive at Direct Capital Corporation and a Research Analyst at OKAZ Investments. In 2007, they joined Cairo Financial Holding as an Investment Officer and later moved to CI Capital Holding as an Investment Banking Associate. Adel continued to advance in their career at CI Capital Holding, serving as a Vice President of Investment Banking from 2015 to 2017. Adel then transitioned to Taylor-DeJongh as a Consultant before joining Overseas Private Investment Corporation as a Graduate Summer Associate. In 2019, Adel returned to CI Capital Holding as a Senior Vice President of Investment Banking and later became the Director of Investment Banking. Currently, they hold the position of Group Chief Investment Officer at Andalusia Health KSA, starting in 2024.

Adel Abbas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Economics from Virginia Tech in 2005. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Adel attended The George Washington University School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance. In 2013, Adel also studied Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at EDHEC Business School. Additionally, Adel received certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in August 2006.
