He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and obtained a master's degree in the Faculty of Management and Marketing, he is also a graduate of Stanford University, where he graduated from the Graduate School of Business. Prior to founding OTB, Adam Niewiński was the founder and CEO of Expander and co-founder and board member of Platinum Bank (Ukraine). Adam Niewiński started his professional career in 1997 at The Boston Consulting Group. Since 2000, he has built a team and raised funding to start Expander, which probably became the first Polish FinTech. In the years 2002-2017 Adam Niewiński was associated with the UniCredit Group, where he conducted investment banking and asset management in Central and Eastern Europe. Subsequently, he became the President of the Management Board of Xelion Investment House, which became a leading platform for personal financial advisors. In 2015, he became the Vice-President of Bank PEKAO SA responsible for the Private Banking Division and acquisition and Financing of Small and Medium Enterprises. He was also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Xelion DI, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Private Equity Managers, the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Central Brokerage House of Bank Pekao SA and a Member of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Investment Banking.
Currently, he is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Desa S.A., as well as Cosmose AI, ICEYE, FintechOS, Silent Eight and Ondato.
