Mauricio Gutiérrez Ruiz

Mauricio Gutiérrez has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Mauricio is currently a member of the Board of Directors at ANALDEX - Asociación Nacional de Comercio Exterior and the General Manager at CIAMSA, Comercializadora de Azucares y Mieles S.A. Previously, they served as the General Manager at Cointra S.A.S, where they led the reorganization process and redefined the company's strategy. Before that, they were a Board Member at COLFECAR. Mauricio also worked at SABMiller, first as the Distribution Director, Latin America, where they supported distribution operations and implemented global standards. Mauricio later held the positions of Distribution Services Director and Regional Distribution Director at Bavaria - Colombia. Their earlier experience includes being the Logistics Director at Corporación Boliviana de Bebidas S.A. (SABMiller Plc - PepsiCo bottler) and the Distribution System Head at Bavaria - Colombia.

Mauricio Gutiérrez has a diverse education history. Mauricio started in 1993 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1998. In 2002, they obtained a Diploma in Logistics from CESA. Following this, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from Latin America Logistics Center in 2003. In 2004, Mauricio Gutiérrez studied English at California State University, Bakersfield. Later, they attended Universidad Católica Boliviana from 2005 to 2007, where they completed an MBA with a focus on the Harvard Institute for International Development HIID Program. Finally, in 2009 and 2010, they participated in the Leadership Development Program at INCAE Business School.
