CiaoLapo is the first Italian charity in the field of pregnancy at risk, pregnancy monitoring, stillbirth and perinatal loss. CiaoLapo promotes medical and psychological research, training for professionals, social awareness campaigns, and offers free psychological support to pregnant women and bereaved parents. 
Since 2006 CiaoLapo developed the very first italian network of professionals and parents involved in perinatal health and perinatal loss and a strong relationship with the main international group involved in research and support after stillbirth and perinatal loss was created.

After a stillbirth, a miscarriage or perinatal loss parents often need to learn many details about what has happened to them and what will may happen in the future. You will find many articles written by our professionals on perinatal health issues, receiving and giving support in perinatal bereavement, the psychology of grief and grieving and how to cope with the loss in subsequent pregnancies.
- web-based self-help forum. The forum is freely accessible for reading, but only registered users can post messages. On the forum you can share your story, thoughts and emotions and read other parents’ stories. Some sections are moderated by professionals, trained to answer parents' questions. 
- parents and professionals support groups. The self help group is the primary resource that according to international scientific research has proven to be most effective in the management of perinatal loss. 

Since 2007 CiaoLapo has organized many congresses, two international workshops, and over 100 training courses for midwives, psychologists and inward professionals.
