György Laboranovits has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. György started their career at Texas Instruments, where they completed a practical semester in Germany, working on the development of proximity card access systems. György then joined ELCON Kft. as a Project and Key Account Manager, gaining experience in BMS systems development, programming, and project management. Laboranovits later joined Johnson Controls, where they held various positions and eventually became the Managing Director for Hungary, specializing in building management and electronic security systems.
In 2005, they transitioned to the role of Facility Director at the Mammut Shopping and Entertainment Centre before joining K&H Csoport in 2007. At K&H Csoport, they served as the Managing Director of Operations, overseeing payments, credits, treasury back and middle offices, and trade finance. György later became the Managing Director of the Shared Service Center, responsible for the facility management, operation, and investment of the central buildings, data centers, and branch network. Notable projects included branch network expansion and the construction of a LEED gold-certified head office building.
Laboranovits then worked at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA as the Managing Director - Country Lead for Hungary. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Bank Security, Logistics, and Real Estate at CIB Bank, where they oversee physical, cyber, and fraud security, as well as business continuity management and facility services.
György Laboranovits completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from Pannon University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Corvinus University of Budapest from 2009 to 2011, where they focused on bank management. György also obtained a Bachelor's degree in BankDIploma (BADI) from the International Training Center for Bankers during the same time period. In 1994-1995, they attended Bolyai János Technical Military College as a Telecommunication officer. György Laboranovits started their education journey at Kandó Kálmán Műszaki Főiskola from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Telecommunication Informatics, focusing on low voltage systems, IT, and telecommunication engineering.
