Arlene Recometa

Arlene Recometa is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fund accounting and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Fund Accountant at CIBC Mellon since June 2020, Arlene manages accounting support for funds totaling over $1.2 billion in assets, ensuring accurate reconciliation of transactions and cash flow activities. Prior to CIBC Mellon, Arlene accumulated significant experience at Professional Engineers Ontario, where responsibilities included processing accounts payable, conducting month-end reconciliations, and facilitating audits. Arlene's previous roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Thomson Reuters involved overseeing accounting transactions, managing teams, and optimizing financial processes. Arlene holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and is affiliated with CPA Ontario. Additionally, Arlene completed the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2014.
