Cynthia Oakden

Cynthia Oakden, MA, CMP, CP APMP, is currently the Assistant Vice President of Operations Administration and Communications at CIBC Mellon, where responsibilities include leading strategic communications for the Chief Operations Officer and developing communication materials for the Board of Directors. Previously, Cynthia served as the Business Development and Communications Manager, as well as a Senior Communications Specialist at CIBC Mellon. Other notable roles include Community Education Program Coordinator at Jessie's - The June Callwood Centre for Young Women, and Senior Communications & Special Projects Coordinator at Free The Children. Cynthia holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Windsor, alongside a Certificate in Business Communications from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Western University.
