Alex Wilson is responsible for CIBC Capital Markets' Corporate & Institutional Client Business in Europe and the Middle East. With 20 years of experience in investment banking, Alex has advised corporate and institutional clients globally from major cities including London, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Currently serving as MD & Head of Structured Finance at CIBC, Alex is also a Limited Partner at Portfolio Ventures Angel Fund and a mentor for Techstars in Financial Services and ClimateTech. An active member of several committees, Alex is dedicated to diversity and inclusion and supports various venture-backed companies as an angel investor and founder advisor. Alex speaks German fluently.
