Claire Downard

Claire Downard is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience in talent acquisition, program delivery, and workforce transformation. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at CIBC since May 2010, Claire has held several leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Program Delivery and Senior Director of HR Shared Services. With a background that includes significant positions at Telus and BMO Financial Group, as well as experience with Hewitt Associates and Exult, Claire has developed expertise in HR governance, mergers and acquisitions, and HR business management. Claire holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Western University and a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources from Seneca Polytechnic.
