Michel Liboiron

Michel Liboiron currently serves as Associate Vice-President of Thought Leadership & Public Affairs and Associate Vice-President of Public Policy and Government Relations at CIBC, a position held since October 2020. Prior to this role, Michel held various positions at CIBC from 2013 to 2020, including Senior Director and Director of Government Relations. Additional experience includes a tenure as Senior Consultant at Environics Communications (2011-2013), Press Secretary and Director of Communications for the Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons of Canada (2007-2011), a brief role at the United Nations in 2009, and a Research Assistant at the Senate of Canada (2006-2007). Michel holds a Master of Science degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Diplôme d'études politiques in International Relations from Sciences Po Aix, and a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the University of Ottawa.
