Soroush Sefidkar

Soroush Sefidkar has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2021, they founded and became the Co-CEO of CIBOTICA. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they served as the Co-Founder and COO of Tellext. In 2019, Soroush worked as a Product Manager at Theory + Practice, a boutique AI company, where they played a crucial role in managing projects and coordinating efforts between internal teams and clients.

Before that, Soroush worked as the Chief Engineer at Theorem Synthetic Intelligence in 2018, and as the Head of Mechanical Design at Advanced Intelligent Systems Inc. from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Ecoation Innovative Solutions Inc. and as a Fiber Optic Network Design Engineer at Ledcor.

Soroush's early work experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University from 2011 to 2014, collaborating with Rocky Mountain Bikes Co. on the design and manufacturing of magnetorheological shock absorbers. Prior to that, they founded Bargain Deals Ltd in 2007.

Soroush Sefidkar holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics from Simon Fraser University, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biomedical Engineering from Islamic Azad University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Project Management Fundamentals from Mitacs in 2015, Comsol Multiphysics Training from COMSOL, Inc. in 2013, Basics of Machine Tools from SFU in 2013, SolidWorks 2013 Essentials from CMC Microsystems in 2013, and Matlab Training Course from the Institute of Information & Technology of Shiraz in 2007.
