Kelly Scarbel

Kelly Scarbel has over 30 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Kelly is currently the Director of Corporate Accounting at Cibus, a position they have held since January 2019. Prior to this, from September 2016 to January 2019, Kelly worked as a Consultant at Alere Inc. Before that, they spent over a decade at CareFusion, starting in March 2005 as the Director of External Reporting and Technical Accounting. During their time at CareFusion, Kelly was responsible for general accounting, capital spend reporting, budgeting and forecasting, SEC and other corporate reporting, as well as technical accounting research. Kelly also assisted with M&A and other special projects. From January 1997 to July 2004, Kelly worked at Prudential Financial as the Vice President of Finance and Assistant Controller, where they were responsible for accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, capital management, and competitive analysis. At Prudential Financial, Kelly played a key role in financial support and analysis for significant acquisitions and joint ventures. Kelly began their career at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Manager, where they managed client engagements and professional staff in the mutual fund and financial services industries. Kelly provided clients with valuable business and accounting advice and had exposure to SEC reporting.

Kelly Scarbel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Kelly also holds a CPA certification, although the details of the institution and the year of obtaining it are not provided.
