Nina Shih-Hua Tan

Nina Shih-Hua Tan is a seasoned professional in the fields of genomics, diagnostics, and product development, currently serving as the Manager of High-Throughput Genotyping at Cibus since August 2021. With previous experience as a Project Consultant and Project Manager at CTK Biotech, Inc., and as Lead Scientist in Virology at Cultivaris Hemp, Nina has successfully executed projects focused on developing in vitro diagnostic devices and molecular diagnostic assays for plant pathogens. Earlier roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of California, Riverside, where collaboration with global research laboratories enhanced diagnostic methods for the citrus industry, and a Product Manager role at New Deantronics overseeing the development of medical devices. Nina holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of California, Riverside, and advanced degrees in Microbiology and Agricultural Chemistry from National Taiwan University.
