Steven Sanders

Steven Sanders has extensive work experience in the field of molecular and computational biology. Steven currently holds the position of Executive Director of Molecular & Computational Biology at Cibus LLC, where they manage multiple departments and provides strategic leadership. Their responsibilities include directing molecular and computational teams, leading cross-departmental projects, and managing partnerships. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Cibus LLC, including Senior Scientist, Group Leader, Director, and Senior Director in the Molecular & Computational Biology field. During their time at Cibus LLC, Steven built and led teams, achieved critical milestones, and established collaborations.

Before joining Cibus LLC, Steven worked at the Cleveland Clinic as a Staff Scientist and Assistant Professor of Molecular Medicine. Steven then went on to work at Case Western Reserve University, where they held the position of Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. At Case Western Reserve University, Steven led a research group, made significant contributions to the field, and received recognition and awards for their work.
