Viraj Manatunga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and financial sectors. Currently serving as an Advisory Committee Member at the Ministry of Industries Sri Lanka and as Secretary and Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association, Viraj aims to enhance local pharmaceutical manufacturing and boost export revenue. As the Group Chief Strategy Officer at CIC Holdings PLC since January 2010, Viraj has also held multiple leadership roles including Divisional Director and Chief Financial Officer in the healthcare sector. Additionally, as Chairman of the Pharmaceuticals Advisory Committee at the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Viraj collaborates with the Ministry of Health and WHO to shape the pharmaceutical industry's future. With a strong educational background, including a Master’s Degree in Financial Economics and various certifications in management and finance, Viraj has a solid foundation in strategic and operational finance.
