Ibon Santiago is currently working as a Gipuzkoa Fellow at CIC nanoGUNE. Prior to this, Santiago held positions such as Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. Santiago's research experience includes DNA nanotechnology, self-propelled devices, and quantum mixtures of ultracold atoms. Santiago has a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Oxford and has also studied at MIT, The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, The University of Texas at Austin, and Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
