David Weissburg

David Weissburg has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to design strategy, innovation consulting, and mechanical engineering. David is currently working as a Senior Innovation Consultant at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), where they provide strategic consulting and scouting for startups and new technologies. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Design Consultant at RCD Strategy, offering design coaching and mentoring to startup founders. David also served as a Director of Design Strategy at Fidelity Investments, where they worked on design research and onboarding experienced designers. Before that, they worked at IDEO for several roles, including Associate Partner, Employee Advocate, Project Manager and Office Leader, and Project Manager. David'sresponsibilities at IDEO included client relationship management, project leadership, team management, and office leadership. Early in their career, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Polaroid, where they contributed to the development of various products. David has extensive experience in design thinking, relationship-centered design, and human-centered design.

David Weissburg attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
