Renee Brick has diverse work experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on strategic decision-making and budgeting. Renee most recently worked at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they led the global budget process and consolidation across multiple legal entities and countries, reporting directly to the CFO. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at CIC, where they built the FP&A function from the ground up and played a key role in a $60 million series B capital raise.

Before joining CIC, Renee worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Learning Technologies Group plc, where they contributed to revenue, billings, and cash forecast models for a subscription-based software company. Renee also expanded their role to include Revenue Operations, developing dashboard reporting and integrating planning systems.

Their previous experience includes roles at Dell Technologies, EMC, Vanderweil Facility Advisors (VFA), GE, Morgan Stanley, and Putnam Investments. At Dell Technologies, they focused on the creation and development of the Sarbanes-Oxley reporting function and participated in finance transformation initiatives. At EMC, they acted as a liaison between R&D divisions and corporate FP&A while also taking on responsibilities for SAP implementation and upgrade.

Renee began their career in finance through the Finance Training Program (FTP) at EMC and later worked as an Associate Financial Analyst in the Unified Storage Division. Renee also held co-op positions at GE, Morgan Stanley, and Putnam Investments, gaining exposure to financial management, prime brokerage strategy and marketing, and sales and marketing.

Renee Brick completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from The George Washington University School of Business between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance & Marketing, as well as a minor in Math, from Northeastern University from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Renee obtained a certification in Project Management Principles and Practices from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in 2017.
