Harm Reduction Lead at CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc)

Sarah DuBow, MPH has a diverse work experience in the public health and social services field. Sarah most recently worked as the Deputy Director of Trauma Informed Overdose Data to Action Project at CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc) since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Community Engagement Technical Assistance Specialist at CAI from October 2020 to December 2022. From 2015 to 2020, Sarah worked at New York Harm Reduction Educators (NYHRE) in multiple roles including Volunteer and Training Manager, Community Education Coordinator, and Harm Reduction Counselor. At NYHRE, they designed and implemented volunteer programs, supervised peer educators, and provided harm reduction services to vulnerable populations. Before joining NYHRE, Sarah worked as a Client Advocate, Harm Reduction Counselor, Outreach Worker, and Driver at FROST'D @ Harlem United from 2013 to 2014. Sarah also gained experience as an AmeriCorps Case Management Aide at Well of Hope Community Development Corporation from 2011 to 2012 and at ST. PAUL'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION from 2011 to 2012. Sarah's career started as a Domestic Violence Counselor at Cumberland County Women's Center from 2006 to 2009, where they provided counseling and case management services to victims of domestic violence.

Sarah DuBow, MPH completed their education in a chronological order. From 2002 to 2006, they attended Rowan University and acquired a Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. In 2009, they enrolled in Rutgers University for a non-matriculated program in Social Work, completing it in 2010. Lastly, between 2014 and 2020, they pursued their Master's degree in Public Health and Community Health Education at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.
