Cecilia Sandström

CEO at Ciceron Group

Cecilia Sandström has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Cecilia started their career at FOREX Bank where they worked as a Customer Service/Sales Representative and Banker from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they joined the Career Service at the University of Gothenburg as a Marketing Event Coordinator, where they managed various projects and analyzed new marketing opportunities.

In 2013, Cecilia worked as an intern at Habitats ApS, where they explored new business opportunities related to business and biodiversity. Cecilia conceptualized potential business cases and presented them in workshops.

Cecilia then joined Universum in 2014 as a Digital Marketing Specialist, focusing on digital marketing strategies and initiatives.

Since 2015, they have been with Ciceron Group, starting as a Project Manager and then progressing to Head of Production. In 2018, they became a Partner and subsequently the COO. Their most recent role at Ciceron Group is the CEO, a position they have held since March 2020.

Cecilia Sandström obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Marketing from the University of Gothenburg in 2012. In the same year, they also completed a course in Service Design at the School of Design and Crafts, which is a part of Gothenburg University. Following this, Cecilia pursued a Master's Degree in Marketing and Consumption, specializing in Master of Science, from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, graduating in 2014. In 2013, they briefly attended the Copenhagen Business School, where they focused on Sustainable Business and Corporate Branding. Additionally, during their Bachelor's studies in 2011, they had the opportunity to study Marketing at the National University of Malaysia for a short period of time.
