Alyssa Cicalo currently serves as a Newborn Hearing Screening Technician at Mercy and is also engaged as a Graduate Student Assistant and Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Education includes a Doctor of Audiology program at Washington University, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Nursing Assistant at UNC Health, Resident Care Assistant at Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and Recreation Assistant at CID-Central Institute for the Deaf Professional Development. Alyssa has also held various positions including Chemistry Peer Mentor at the University of North Carolina and intern at Northrop Grumman. Early work experience includes serving as a waitress and hostess at IHOP and a preschool camp counselor for the Town of Huntington.
