Luke Kim is a dedicated undergraduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from 2021 to 2025. Currently serving as a Recreational Aide at the CID-Central Institute for the Deaf since August 2022, Luke facilitates activities for deaf students aged 3-11, fostering empowerment and communication. Additionally, Luke works in the Zaher Lab as a Biochemistry researcher, investigating the relationship between synonymous codons and RNA degradation rates in yeast cells. As a Peer Led Team Learning (PLTL) Leader, Luke leads group sessions for General Chemistry. Previously, Luke worked as a Medical Scribe at Affiliated Ear Nose & Throat Medical Group, enhancing office efficiency through organization and documentation.
