Stephanie Major

Stephanie Major, CPA, MBA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Stephanie currently works as an Accounting Manager at Cidara Therapeutics, where they oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, prepares journal entries and account reconciliations, and reviews invoices. Prior to this, Stephanie worked as an Accounting Manager at Gossamer Bio, where they managed accounting operations. Stephanie also served as a Consolidations Manager at Axos Bank, overseeing consolidations and preparing analytical reviews. Stephanie has experience in the biotech industry as well, having worked as an Accounting Manager at Calibr at Scripps Research, where they covered for the Controller and supervised accounts payable activities. Stephanie also worked as a Controller at Signature Analytics, providing outsourced CFO and accounting services to small and mid-sized companies. Additionally, Stephanie has volunteered as the Managing Director of Finance at Startup San Diego and worked as a Finance Consultant at California Institute for Biomedical Research. Stephanie started their career as a Finance Consultant at WD-40 Company, supporting the Accounts Receivable and FP&A teams. Stephanie Major, CPA, MBA has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from HEC Montréal. Stephanie also holds an MBA from HEC Montréal with a Finance major and a minor in International Management. Additionally, Stephanie has obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016 and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered in Michigan. Stephanie is also pursuing a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
