Sue Tran

Sue Tran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sue started their career as an Office Administrative Assistant at Heintschel Plastering, Inc. from March 2004 to November 2005, where they managed various administrative tasks and handled accounts payable responsibilities.

Sue then worked as a Jr. Financial Accountant at LEGOLAND California Resort from November 2006 to April 2007. Their responsibilities included full cycle accounts payable processing, general ledger account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end accruals.

Sue joined The SoCo Group, Inc. as a Staff Accountant in June 2007 and continued working there until May 2019 when the company was acquired by SC Fuels. In this role, they conducted monthly reconciliations, provided administrative support to various departments, and performed daily ACHs, EFTs, and wire transfers.

Sue then moved on to Tri-City Medical Center as a Staff Accountant/Payroll specialist from June 2019 to November 2019. Here, they prepared payroll reports, updated payroll records, and calculated payroll liabilities.

Subsequently, Sue worked as a Staff Accountant at Flora California from December 2019 to March 2020. Their responsibilities included account analysis, journal entry preparation, financial data analysis, and researching variances.

In July 2020, they joined Amplyx, which is now a subsidiary of Pfizer Inc., as a Senior Staff Accountant. Their role involved completing journal entries, conducting general ledger analysis, managing account reconciliations, and setting up and maintaining clinical trial sites. Sue worked in this position until June 2021.

Currently, Sue holds the position of Senior Accountant at Cidara Therapeutics, starting in July 2021. Their responsibilities include month-end close activities such as preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, assisting in SEC filings, and preparing income statement flux variance analysis.

Sue Tran attended ITT Technical Institute-San Diego from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2007, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management.
