Diego del Olmo is a researcher at CIDETEC with experience in multiphysics modeling of Li-ion batteries. Prior to their current role, Diego worked as a doctoral researcher at UCT Prague focusing on modeling and simulation of zinc-slurry/air flow batteries. Diego also has experience in research and development internships at Umicore, Kamstrup, and ArcelorMittal R&D - OCAS NV. Diego holds a Master's degree in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion from Université de Picardie Jules Verne and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo.
