Nicolás Ramos Gómez

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and innovative educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed as both an electrical engineer and firmware engineer, focusing on hardware and firmware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational accessories. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry harvesters. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary while obtaining a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the DeVry Institute of Technology.
