Arantza Estefanía Larrañaga

A Law graduate with Honor Registration and Extraordinary End of Degree Award from the University of Deusto. She has more than thirty years of experience in the field of company law, where she has served as managing partner of the Uría Menéndez Abogados S.L.P Firm from its foundation in 2000 to January 2019. In recent years she has developed an extensive practice in the area of compliance and prevention of criminal risks, as well as the environment and security. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors, the Professional Practice Management Committee and the Criminal Risk Prevention Committee of said firm. She has been recognized by Best Lawyer in Spain annually and continuously since 2013 as a leading lawyer in arbitration and mediation practices and as lawyer of the year in the procedural area. Currently, she is an independent board member of Repsol, Member of the Appointments Committee and Member of the Sustainability Committee. She is also President of the Economic Commission of the Economic and Social Council of the Basque Government and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Bilbao Exhibition Center S.A.
