Charles Chiu

Charles Chiu is an experienced Optical Engineer with a demonstrated history at Ciena, where responsibilities have included testing and specifying optical modules for ROADM systems, leading design projects, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. Prior roles include Optical Component Engineer, focusing on reliability and risk analysis, as well as serving as a Field Application Engineer at Accelink Technologies, providing technical support for various optics products. Charles also has a solid academic background, holding a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
