Dan Gick

Dan Gick is a seasoned professional in IT procurement and vendor management, currently serving as the Leader of IT Procurement at Ciena since March 2020. In this role, Dan oversees strategic sourcing and licensing practices across various IT categories, establishing key partnerships with major providers like Microsoft and Salesforce. Prior to Ciena, Dan held multiple senior management positions at Allegis Group, where responsibilities included leading the implementation of enterprise-level procure-to-pay solutions and managing Microsoft licensing for a global user base. Dan's career also includes accounting and auditing experience at J.J. Haines & Co., Inc. and Ernst & Young. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University.
