Deependu Saxena

Deependu Saxena is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various prestigious companies. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Ciena since August 2022, Deependu focuses on the development of residential PON services, emphasizing network protocols. Prior to this, Deependu held the position of Principal Engineer at Huawei, where optimization of the proprietary OS for mobile devices was a primary responsibility. As a Senior Software Engineer at General Motors, leadership in developing Infotainment System features was demonstrated. Previous roles also include Principal Engineer at Microchip Technology, Module Lead at Qualcomm, and Senior Software Engineer at Sasken, amongst others. Deependu holds an MTech in Information Technology from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a BTech in Computer Engineering from the University of Rajasthan.
