Jürgen Hatheier

Jürgen Hatheier is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in expanding business operations and product innovation across various roles. Currently serving as CTO EMEA & APAC and VP Strategic Sales at Ciena since February 2020, Jürgen is focused on driving leadership in new product areas and adaptive networks. Previously, Jürgen worked as Chief Product Officer at Technetix, overseeing the transformation of its product portfolio for broadband operators, and held roles at Pacific Broadband Networks, ARRIS, C-COR, and LIWEST, contributing to international sales, product management, and market development. Jürgen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and a Computer Science engineering degree from HTBLA Leonding, complemented by executive education from the WU Executive Academy.
