Piyush Sharma

Piyush Sharma is an experienced software engineer specializing in verification and testing within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving at Ciena since May 2019, Piyush has progressed through various roles, including SVT/PV Engineer Software Systems 3, 2, and Product Verification Engineer, where responsibilities include preparing testing strategies and test plans in alignment with product release requirements. Prior to Ciena, Piyush worked at Nokia from April 2011 to May 2019 as a Radio Access Network Specialist, focusing on LTE software verification and Radio cloud solution implementations, as well as serving as a BCS Support Engineer for network management system projects in India. Piyush began the career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Nokia Siemens Networks after earning a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Kurukshetra University in 2010.
