Satish Kanna

Satish Kanna has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as the VP of Engineering & Delivery at Ciena's Blue Planet since July 2018. Prior to this role, Satish held several key positions at Packet Design from March 2003 to June 2018, including VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering and Technology. Earlier experiences include distinguished engineering roles at Packet Design Inc and a foundational role as a Programmer Analyst/Graduate Research Assistant at USC Information Sciences Institute from 1995 to 2000. Satish Kanna holds an MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
