Alfons Pladars

Alfons Pladars has extensive experience in technology and business entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Systems Administrator at Ciena Healthcare since February 2016, Alfons specializes in VMware administration, maintenance, and patching for the corporate data center and remote facilities, as well as managing Veeam backup and Freenas Storage. In addition to this role, Alfons has been a Business Entrepreneur at Popartcandy since 1999, focusing on the acquisition and sale of mid-20th century furniture and art while managing an e-commerce presence and overseeing inventory and financial aspects. Previously, from September 2013 to February 2016, Alfons worked as a Technical Support Specialist at H&R Block, where responsibilities included installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software applications. Alfons holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Wayne State University and an Associate’s degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Macomb Community College.
