Filipe Correia

Filipe Correia currently serves as the Coordenador Adjunto for the Monitor team at Pavilhão do Conhecimento - Centro Ciência Viva since December 2017, where responsibilities include mentoring national innovation competitions, leading workshops, and co-training educational sessions. Filipe has extensive experience in science education, having facilitated various exhibitions and scientific activities. Previous roles include biologist positions at the Botanic Garden of the University of Coimbra, focusing on social inclusion and environmental education, and a position in the Ian Somerhalder Foundation as a Portuguese administrator. Filipe holds a Master's degree in Science Communication from NOVA FCSH and two degrees from Universidade de Coimbra in Biology, specializing in Botany/Plant Biology.
