Vafa Abadi

Vafa Abadi has a diverse work experience in the field of testing and automation. In 2015, Vafa served as a Seminar Lead at the University of Leicester. From 2017 to 2018, Vafa worked as a Test Analyst for Zurich Life Insurance at iPipeline UK. This was followed by a role as a Test Analyst in the Business Support and Testing team at Foresters Financial from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Vafa joined Pacific Life Re as a Test Analyst for the Actuarial Systems team. Later in the same year, Vafa held a role as a Self-declared Automation Tester at home, where they worked on building their personal portfolio in web automation and completed online courses in various testing areas. Currently, Vafa is employed at Cifas as a Systems Testing Analyst in the Technology Team, specializing in web UI test automation and API testing.

Vafa Abadi obtained a Master of Mathematics degree (MMath) from the University of Leicester from 2013 to 2017, with a specialization in Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Vafa has also completed several certifications. These include the Complete SQL Bootcamp, JMeter, Rest API Testing using Python, Selenium Python Automation Testing, and the Complete Python Bootcamp, all from Udemy and obtained in July 2020. Vafa is also an ISTQB Certified Tester, with a foundation level certification from iSQI GmbH obtained in September 2018. Their latest certification is the ReadyAPI Test Introductory Training from SmartBear, obtained in October 2022.
