Tim Sargent holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from The University of British Columbia. Tim has extensive experience in various key positions within the Government of Canada, including Deputy Minister roles in Fisheries and Oceans, International Trade, and Agriculture. Currently, Tim serves as the Deputy Executive Director at the Centre for the Study of Living Standards and as a CIGI Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
