Mary Tate-Smith

Mary Tate-Smith is a seasoned professional in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Government Sales and Community Relations at CIGNA Healthcare since October 2001. In this role, Mary oversees government sales and client retention in the Memphis, Arkansas, and Mississippi markets, collaborating closely with government clients and community relations. Previously, as Vice President of Sales for Memphis and Director of Client Strategy, responsibilities included driving growth and retention across the Mid-South sales market and managing Client Managers and the Client Strategy Team. Before joining CIGNA, Mary held the position of Director of Account Management at Oxford Health Plans from 1991 to 1999, where oversight of Account Managers was pivotal for customer installations and renewals, alongside enhancing market growth and retention efforts.
