Michael Perry

Michael Perry possesses extensive experience in the insurance and healthcare sectors, currently serving as a Risk and Underwriting Manager at Cigna since January 2015, with prior roles as Lead Analyst and Senior Associate Underwriter. In this capacity, Michael designs and quotes healthcare plans for small businesses while analyzing claims data and negotiating renewal rates. Prior to Cigna, Michael operated as a self-employed Certified NESTA Personal Trainer, developing tailored programs for student-athletes and promoting athletic opportunities in the community. Additional experience includes an intern position in the Underwriting Department at Excalibur Insurance Management Services, where administrative and data support was provided, as well as a business management internship at Gotta Have Sole, focusing on community engagement and fundraising for underprivileged youth. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration from Bryant University.
