Tom Runkle

Tom Runkle has extensive experience in business analytics and project management, currently serving as a Business Analytics Senior Advisor in the Special Investigations Unit at Cigna since January 2002. Prior roles at Cigna include Business Analytics Advisor for Health Plan Analytics - Cost Containment and Business Project Senior Specialist. Tom's earlier career includes positions such as Group Health Underwriter and Senior Application Developer, along with programming and consulting roles at Insurity, Visual Aids Services, Inc., and Keane, Inc. Tom holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, completed between 2016 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Hartford, earned from 1992 to 1997, along with studies at Texas A&M University between 2012 and 2014.
