Shanta Mason-Williams

Shanta Mason-Williams has over 25 years of extensive experience in nursing and management, currently serving as the Medical Team Leader for Long Term Disability Nurses at Cigna Insurance Services since May 2005. Previously, Shanta held the position of Senior Nurse Case Manager, providing expertise in both short and long-term disability, along with conducting quality audits. Early career roles include Admissions Coordinator at Heartland and Nursing Supervisor at Ohio Valley Health Services & Education Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed managing an Acute Rehabilitation Unit and overseeing multiple Centers of Excellence. Shanta began their career as a Staff Nurse in medical-surgical and telemetry units after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Akron.
