Felix Makori is an experienced HTS Specialist at the Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity (Ciheb) at UMB, where responsibilities include developing and implementing capacity-building plans for HIV testing services, continuous quality improvement systems, and strategies for patient retention and adherence support. Previously, Felix served as an HTS Improvement Officer at FACES Programs, overseeing the implementation of HIV testing strategies and mentoring program personnel. Experience also includes roles as Testing Supervisor and Deputy Community Coordinator at KEMRI SEARCH, and Tracking Coordinator Assistant at KEMRI-RCTP. Felix holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University, a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Mount Kenya University, and a Diploma in Clinical Laboratory Science from Kenya Medical Training College.
