Abimbola Phillips

Abimbola Phillips has extensive work experience in public health and evaluation & surveillance. Abimbola currently holds the position of Associate Director, Evaluation & Surveillance, Strategic Information at CIHPNG. Prior to this, they worked at Malaria Consortium as a Public Health Specialist and later as an Operational Research and Surveillance Specialist. Abimbola also has experience working at the Department of Community Health, OAUTHC, where they held roles as a Senior Registrar and Registrar.

Abimbola Phillips has a comprehensive education history in the field of public health and medicine. Abimbola obtained their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the same institution. Abimbola then went on to attend the University of Ibadan, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Epidemiology & Medical Statistics. Abimbola further expanded their knowledge and expertise in public health by enrolling in the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, where they completed a Fellowship in the Medical College of Public Health (FMCPH).

In addition to their formal education, Abimbola Phillips has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills. Abimbola obtained certificates in "Getting and Cleaning Data" from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2018, and in "R Programming" and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" from Coursera in November 2017. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with developments in the field.
