Sam Rapley

Sam Rapley is the SVP of Engineering & Delivery at Ciklum. Sam has also previously worked at Digital Dimensions and the UK Home Office.

At the UK Home Office, Sam served as the Programme Delivery Lead from November 2017 to February 2019. In this role, they oversaw a team of 100+ members that worked to replace immigration casework systems with a more modern platform. This new platform was based on a microservices architecture, and it enabled the decommissioning of legacy systems and the rapid rollout of new products and services.

Sam's delivery model was based on large scale agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, and Disciplined Agile Delivery models. This helped ensure their budget, which ran into the tens of millions of pounds annually, was supporting predictable delivery while driving business value.

Sam Rapley has a MSc in Advanced Computer Science and Management from The University of Manchester, and a BSc in Information Systems from Brunel University London.

They work with Dave Arcemont - Chief of Business Operations, Alex Bowditch - VP, Strategy and Operations, and Andriy Oksenyuk - CFO. Sam Rapley reports to Kulraj Smagh, CEO.
