Mark Styles has extensive experience in the publishing industry. Mark worked as the Head of Publishing and Customised Solutions at CILEX since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Publishing Professional, specializing in Higher Education textbook and digital solutions market. Mark also worked as the Manager of Custom Solutions EMEA at John Wiley & Sons Ltd and held various editorial roles in the same company. Mark also worked as an Affiliate Associate at Maverick Publishing Specialists, where they provided strategic and operational marketing services for publishers. Mark briefly worked as an Editorial Manager at CIPD and as the Head of Educational Resources at THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LEGAL EXECUTIVES.

Mark Styles obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History and Archaeology from Birkbeck, University of London, between 2015 and 2019. Mark also holds an Associate in Publishing certification from the Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies.
