Tony Bunce has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tony is currently working as the Director of Business Transformation at The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Group IT and Facilities Management at the same organization. Before joining this institute, Tony held the position of Head of Group Information Technology at Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).
In 2016, Tony worked as an IT Director (Interim) at West One Technology, where they were responsible for electronics recycling and managing business demands. Tony also worked at Dixons Carphone for almost a decade and held various roles, including Vendor Service Manager (Service Management Centre of Excellence), Service Desk Operations Manager/Vendor Services Manager, and 3rd Line Production Manager. Tony's responsibilities at Dixons Carphone included ITIL governance, process management, leading service desk operations, and managing incident and problem management.
Earlier in their career, Tony served at Cable & Wireless as a Customer Service Manager and later as the Manager Customer Service & Head of Service Management. During their time at Cable & Wireless, they were deployed on an inter-company secondment at Carphone Warehouse to provide management support and develop in-house teams.
Throughout their career, Tony has demonstrated expertise in IT management, business transformation, process management, and customer service.
Tony Bunce holds a BSc Hons in Technology from The Open University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Tony also holds a Diploma in Information Technology from The Open University, which they obtained in 1999. From 2004 to 2009, they pursued a postgraduate diploma and an MBA in Technology Management and Business Administration, respectively, from Leicester University. In 2012, Tony completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Service Excellence from Anglia Ruskin University. In terms of certifications, Tony holds the Prince 2 Practitioner and Foundation certifications from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY, obtained in 2016. Tony also earned the Chartered IT Professional designation from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY in March 2016 and became an ITIL v3 Expert (Lilac Badge) through ISEB in 2011. Additionally, Tony completed the Negotiation Fundamentals course from Lynda.com in September 2016.
