Cilium Engineering develops optical systems and software for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Surveillance & Tracking (SST). We design distributed optical observation infrastructure combining precision sensors, autonomous observatories and proprietary algorithms for tracking objects in Earth orbit. Our approach is based on networks of cost-efficient optical nodes that provide wide-field sky coverage while maintaining high astrometric precision. This architecture enables scalable monitoring of objects in Low Earth Orbit and supports orbital data generation for space traffic awareness.
